What We Actually Do

We fix and replace residential garage doors - torsion and extension springs, openers, tracks, rollers, cables, and panels. A lot of the stock in this part of New Jersey went up between 1938 and 2004, with most of it dating to the 1960s and '70s, so a good chunk of our calls are original hardware that's thirty, forty, fifty years past the warranty it never had: single-point openers, side-mounted torsion springs, and tracks that were never built for the weight of insulated doors people add on later.

Winters here are genuinely cold and the swings from freeze to thaw are hard on springs and on the grease in old rollers, so a spring that's been fine for a decade can snap in January without warning. That's most of what we see this time of year.

What we don't do: new construction install contracts, commercial rolling steel doors, or gate systems. If that's what you need, we'll say so on the phone instead of taking the job and figuring it out on-site.

What Happens After You Call

Parts for some older torsion setups aren't something we carry on the truck - certain original hardware from the '60s and '70s stock in this area has to be special-ordered, and that can add a few days to a repair. We'd rather tell you that now than have you waiting on a truck that isn't coming today.
